Actor, producer and comedian Gerald “Slink” Johnson has exploded onto the scene as the title character in the live-action comedy “Black Jesus.” A fan favorite among viewers, Johnson is a native of Arkansas, but has called “The Golden State” of California home for several years. He began his career as a successful hip-hop artist before turning to comedy. Always one to keep those around him smiling, Johnson knew that he wanted to continue showing the world his multi-faceted personality. Heralded for his quick wit and sharp humor, Slink as he is affectionately known, has used his voice and comedic skills as a member of All Def Digital, owned by entrepreneur Russell Simmons and shows such as “The Super-Rumble Mix Show” The FXX series “Chozen” and “Pariah” as well as “The Boondocks” the record breaking gaming series “Grand Theft Auto” and most recently “Black Jesus.” Johnson has also worked with acclaimed producers such as Jody Hill, Danny McBride, John and Dave Chernin, Aaron Mcgruder and Mike Clattenburg.
